I read the Genetic Engineering news to get acquainted with emerging trends & technologies in life sciences.However i found their Podcasts page to be very interesting.Their podcast includes news from the biotech industry which would be of great value to researchers in the industry, but they also podcast interviews with eminent academicians.The latter i found to be of great help, the interviewees include Dr.Kary Mullis (inventor of the Polymerase chain reaction), Dr.Ian Wilmut (Dolly-the first mammal to be cloned) and Dr.Richard Jorgensen (reported strange(the RNAi effect)observations in Petunia) to name a few.If you are a student of life sciences i would definitely recommend these interviews.
