Parallels Compatible Gaming

Parallels

I just updated my parallels installation to try out some games. As my previous post trying to compile a list of games compatible to the Intel 945/950 gml motherboard is hot, i would like to follow it up with a compilation of games that run well on parallels emulation. The initial list on the Parallels site is encouraging, but i would still like to see more.It is a bit limiting when considering that Parallels is compatible with only DirectX 8.1 games so would have problems with most new games.Yet i am sure after reading the comments on my previous post that there’s more than what meets the eye.So people if you have a game working fine on Parallels please feel free to add it in the comments – would be very helpful for avid gamers who are on a Mac 😉 (what an oxymoron that was..!)

List of games that Parallels says is completely compatible :

  • Alien Arena 2007
  • Baldur’s Gate 2
  • Bus Driver
  • Call of Duty
  • Counter Strike 1.6
  • Descent 3
  • Doom 3
  • Dungeon Siege 2
  • Far Cry
  • GORE – Ultimate Soldier
  • Half Life 1
  • Half Life 2
  • Hitman Codename 47
  • Hitman Silent Assassin
  • Hitman Contracts
  • IL-2 Shturmovik
  • King Pin
  • Max Payne
  • Max Payne 2
  • Neverball
  • Prey
  • Quake 1 GL
  • Quake 2
  • Quake 3
  • Quake 4
  • Return to Castle Wolfenstein
  • Scorched 3D
  • Serious Sam
  • Serious Sam – the Second Encounter
  • SiN
  • Tribes
  • Unreal Tournament 2003
  • Warcraft 3
  • Worms 3D
