After my brief mourning period over the loss of an excellent music service,i had to stick to the second best of the kind.Last.fm has been a fabulous service from the Social Networking point of view, the only reason that i loved Pandora better was because of the quality of the music recommendations that i received.Now it seems the resources that Last FM pumped into getting the critical mass is finally paying off! Yes if i am right Pandora uses a technical alogrithm to evaluate the kind of music that you like and makes its recommendations based on that, Last FM however uses the power, rather “wisdom of the crowds” to bring you music recommendations that you might like.Since it is the only best available tailored music recommendation available here in europe i just chipped a month’s subscription to the service.Will post a follow up as to how the quality of the service is pretty soon.
