I have been using the Manfrotto 681B for almost a month now and feel the dexterity that a monopod offers. Though, I must add that starting out with a monopod could be a frustrating experience if you do not learn how to use it properly. Its a monopod! what’s there to learn? – was the attitude that I started out with and was almost planning to return the unit since I found that it was horrible support! I then picked up some tips about shooting with a monopod which instantly changed the experience for me.
