Simplicity is of utmost importance in today’s design world. Needless to say that simplicity is of even-more significance in academia.So in-order to gain a general idea of the subtleties behind the art of simplicity a good place to start is Jon Maeda’s blog based on his Book “The Laws of Simplicity“. I have not yet read this book however a recommendation regarding this site and the blog from Presentation Zen suggests that it would be worth the time.As i went through the blog i could identify several or most of the points that Maeda proposes, that have an immediate relevance to academics.
